Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission into the program, you should meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Background: You must have completed your Matric with Science, where Physics, Chemistry, and Biology were the main subjects. Alternatively, Matric in Arts is acceptable, provided it meets HEC requirements. Additionally, you should have a Diploma in General Nursing.

Diploma in Midwifery: In lieu of a Midwifery Diploma, male candidates can present any Post Basic Specialty diploma.

Clinical Experience: You need to have at least one year of clinical experience, with a preference for candidates with post-experience in midwifery or a specialty.

PNC Registration: A valid registration with all entries of professional qualifications from the Pakistan Nursing Council is a must.

If you are currently working in the government sector, you must provide a No Objection Certificate NOC alongside your application.

Entry Test

The entry test is a significant part of the admission process. It consists of a written test that evaluates your knowledge in General Nursing, Midwifery, any Post Basic Specialty, and English. To be considered for admission, you must score at least 50% on this test. However, admission will be primarily based on the overall merit achieved by the candidate, which takes into account multiple factors, including the entry test score.

Schedule of Admission

The admission process for the 02 Years Post RN BSN Degree Program is outlined as follows:

Application Form: Obtain the application form from the Accounts Section of the Institute by paying a fee of Rs. 500 including the entry test through a Bank Challan at the National Bank of Pakistan Shaikh Zayed Branch in Lahore

Documents Required: Ensure that the following documents are duly attested and attached with your application:
a. Matric & F.Sc Certificates
b. General Nursing Diploma
c. Midwifery Diploma Any Post Basic Specialty Diploma
d. Four Mark Sheets General Nursing & Midwifery/Any Post Basic Specialty
e. Domicile
f. Computerized ID Card
g. Four Colored Photographs 1.5x1.5
h. COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

No Hostel Facilities: Please note that no hostel facilities are provided for students, whether male or female, by Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences in Lahore.

Application Deadline: The last date for receipt of applications is November 6, 2023, which is a Monday.

Eligibility List: The list of eligible candidates for the entry test will be displayed on November 16, 2023, a Thursday.

Entry Test: The entry test will be conducted on November 19, 2023, starting at 9:00 am in the Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences in Lahore.

Interviews: Shortlisted candidates for interviews will be announced on November 28, 2023 Tuesday, and the interviews will be held on December 2, 2023 Saturday, beginning at 9:00 am.

Merit List: The list of successful candidates for the 1st merit list will be displayed on December 27, 2023 Wednesday.

Fee Submission: If you are selected in the 1st merit list, you should submit your fee by January 1, 2004 Monday.

Orientation and Classes: The orientation and commencement of classes will begin on January 4, 2024 Thursday.

Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on merit calculated from General Nursing/Midwifery & Any Post Basic Specialty Diploma marks, entry test marks, and interview marks. Hafize-e Quran candidates will receive an additional 20 marks on top of their obtained matric marks.

Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Status Confirmation: Applicants will not be informed personally; all are directed to confirm their status on the merit list displayed in the Institute.
