SECCAP 2023 Sindh Colleges Online Admission Process

Government of Sindh has introduced the Sindh E-Centralized College Admission Program SECCAP 2023 for students seeking admission to government colleges across the province. The program aims to streamline the admission process and provide equal opportunities to eligible candidates. Interested applicants can apply online through the Director General Colleges Sindh website, seccap.dgcs.gos.pk, starting from June 27, 2023. Eligibility Criteria for SECCAP 2023:

To be eligible for SECCAP 2023, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

Students who have passed their SSC/Technical board/G.C.E OLevel or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
Candidates who passed the examination within the last three years before 2022 can also apply, with a deduction of 5 marks for each year of gap to determine their merit.
G.C.E OLevel students must have passed English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, and four optional subjects.
Students from the Cambridge board must obtain an equivalence certificate from I.B.C Islamabad.

General Conditions:

Admission requirements specific to faculty, group, or subject will be in accordance with the regulations set by the relevant Education Board.
Students applying one or more years later than the completion of their previous education must submit an affidavit stating that it is their first-time admission.
Only students with a domicile of Sindh are eligible to apply, while students from other provinces can apply on a quota basis.

How to Apply for SECCAP 2023:

Applying for Sindh E-Centralized Admission to Government Colleges is a simple online process. Follow the steps below:

Visit the official SECCAP website, seccap.dgcs.gos.pk, and click on the provided link.
Fill out the online application form by selecting your Matric Province, and Matric Board, and providing your CNIC or B-form Number, 9th roll number, and obtained marks in the 9th class exams.
Once the form is complete, click on the proceed button to submit your application.

SECCAP 2023 Merit List:

The SECCAP merit list for admission to government colleges in Sindh will be announced within a month. The merit list will determine the final selection of candidates for admission to the XI class based on their 9th-class results.

SECCAP New Zone System Policy 2023: To ensure fair distribution of admissions, SECCAP has implemented a new zone system policy for 2023. The policy dictates the following:

Zone Allocation:

Students with A+ and A grades can apply to any college in Karachi.

Students with B, C, and D grades can only submit applications within their respective zones.

Creation of Zones:

Regional Directors will establish zones in Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Hyderabad.

Other Important Information:

To promote uniformity, colleges in Sindh will follow a standardized dress code, and no college will be allowed to design its own uniform. Additionally, the issuance of ID cards and admission forms will be centralized, and students will be required to submit their domicile before the examinations if their current and permanent addresses are from Sindh. Students from other provinces must submit their domicile at the time of admission.
