Schools in Punjab Remain Close till 15 August

Minister of School Education Punjab said that the provincial government of Punjab will not allow the government and private schools to open and start their academic activities. Due to spreading of coronavirus in the country, the provincial governments closed down the schools in order to ensure the safety and security of the students and teachers. The pandemic situation is becoming worse and it is not possible for any provincial government to reopen the schools in Punjab. Schools in Punjab Remain Close till 15 August.

The Punjab Government is working on the preparation of the SOPs and the minister said that their ministry wants to complete their homework before the reopening of the schools. The federal government wants to open the schools and they sought the suggestions from the provincial government for the preparation of the standing operating procedures but the provincial governments are not ready to allow the schools to open and start their academic activities.
