School Winter Vacations Due to Corona 2nd Spell

Islamabad, The federal government has decided to close the educational institutions from 26th November 2020 to 10th January 2021. The decision was taken after discussing the present situation of increasing corona virus cases in the educational institutions. The decision was taken in a virtual press conference under taken by federal educational minister Shafqat Mehmood in the presence of four provincial ministers through video link. It was directed in the conference that the schools will remain close from 26th November 2020 to 10th January 2021 while the there will be winter vacations from 25th December 2020 to 10th January 2021 and online classes will be continued up to December 24. The examinations scheduled in December are also postponed.

The minister further said in the conference that there will be review session to check the pandemic situation on 10th January and on 11th January, schools will be allowed to reopen. The federal educational minster ordered the universities to start online learning as early as possible.
