Regulatory Body In KPK Check On Private Schools

The minister for elementary and secondary education for KPK declared that the government has made their own regulatory body in order to put a check on the performance and education standard in the private schools, which are working in KPK province. The authority would put a check on the educational institutes located in the private sector, which overcharge the parents in terms of fee. The authority will comprise of the provincial minister as chairman, government officials, senior academics, school owners and the representatives of the parents and they will give their suggestions about the education standard, teaching faculties, training and pay structure and they will also monitor the performance of the schools.

The new regulatory authority will determine the necessary education qualification of the teachers, which will give education to the students in these private schools. It is said that the previous government has formulated this regulatory authority but they did not forward it in the provincial assembly and the present government took this initiative to put forward it in the assembly and also got implemented in the province.

According to the new education policy of KPK government, every child has the right to get basic education in the province and all available sources are being utilized to get the target of this policy. The government has taken this initiative to improve the standard of education and the living standards of the people.
