PWWB COMSATS Labour Quota Admission and Scholarship 2023

COMSATS is the leading and well-reputed higher learning institute, which is contributing in the academic development and progress of the students of Pakistan. The institute has its campuses in various cities and the students can get admission in this most prestigious institutes and they can complete their education at the undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree levels.

Punjab Workers Welfare Board offers the admission and full scholarships to the children of the labors and minors for the all –single degree programs at COMSATS Lahore and Islamabad Campus against the reserved 30% quota for worker and/or their children. The eager candidates are instructed to send their application forms for admission on scholarships on the reserved quota by the closing date of 01 August 2023.

II. Scholarship Details

Coverage: Tuition fee, Hostel fee, and Transportation cost
Available seats for Labour Quota admission at Islamabad and Lahore Campus

III. Eligibility Criteria for PWWB COMSATS Scholarship

Qualification as a Labor Department worker
Possession of a valid social security card
Minimum work experience of 1 year in a registered factory or mine
Definition of a factory and organization qualifications
Children of deceased/disabled workers eligibility criteria
No involvement in illegal activities or criminal proceedings

IV. Application Process

Candidates apply for the scholarship at the time of admission to Single Degree Programs
Required documents to be submitted along with the admission application form

V. Scholarship Award

Submission of worker/miners documents including CNIC, social security card, factory card, etc.
Submission of prospective students documents such as CNIC/family registration certificate
Affidavit on Stamp Paper regarding discontinuation of education and repayment of educational expenditures
Proof of receiving Death Grant/Disability Pension for deceased/disabled worker/miner

VI. Scholarship Continuation

Scholarship duration: maximum of 8 semesters or students respective degree program duration
Requirements in case of course/semester repetition.
