Punjab Single National Curriculum 2022

The School Education Department of Government of the Punjab has issued their Punjab Single National Curriculum 2022. The students and the teachers will watch the syllabus of single national curriculum for academic year 2021-22. This single national curriculum will be implemented in all public and private schools, located in Punjab and it will be comprised of the required subjects at the primary level. This course will help the students and teacher to complete their course within given time frame. Academic Calendar for ECCE to Primary Class 

The teachers and students should note that Single National Curriculum was implemented in the public, private schools and madrassahs of Punjab in August 2021. The implementation of the Single National Curriculum helps the students to get equal and competent education in all types of schools in public and private sectors in rural and urban areas of Punjab.

Early Childhood Care and Education ECCE

Government of the Punjab implemented the Single National Curriculum for the students at the primary level, which will be commenced from August to April and this course work is distributed among all months equally and there may be 23 to 24 period per month in a school, which is very convenient for the students and teachers to complete their education. This course work will be added with the subjects, which covers Early Childhood Care and Education in Urdu, English and Mathematics.
Academic Calendar Grade 1 to 5

The teachers and students should note that academic calendar for primary classes from 1 to 5 as per Single National Curriculum will be started from August to May. The schedule of the exams will be added with extensive course work by dividing them evenly in 23 to 24 periods per month of the calendar year in the school. In this class, the subjects for Grade 1 to 3 will be added with English, Urdu, Mathematics, Islamiyat and General Knowledge.

The teachers and students will also note the subjects for grade 4 and 5, which will be English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Islamiyat and Social Studies.

The final examinations of all classes will be conducted during the month of May and the final exams will be ended in all schools in public and private sectors. Then there will be summer vacations in all schools for two months and after expiry of the summer vacation, the academic activities will be resumed throughout the schools. The winter vacations will be observed in all schools during the month of December.
