Punjab Schools Not Open Until Pandemic Ends

When the Coronavirus pandemic was spreading in the province, the Punjab government announced to close down the schools, colleges and universities and the vacations were announced till 31 May and with the prevailing situation of this menace, the government decided not to open the schools and extend the closing of the educational institutes till 15 July. The condition of COVID-19 pandemic is worsening and it became the danger for the young students and they are not still allowed to go to schools till the mid of July and the government once again decided to extend the closing of the educational institute till the month of August. Still the opening of the schools, colleges and universities are subject to the improvement in the coronavirus pandemic across the province. Punjab Schools Not Open Until Pandemic Ends.

The education minister of Punjab said that the public and private schools are not allowed to open till the finishing of this pandemic as the government does not want to endanger the lives of the innocent children and they want to protect them. The government will consider the situation of this pandemic in the country at the time of giving the final decision of opening of the schools. He warned the private schools, who announced to open the private schools from 15 June with the preparation of the SOPs and the private school association asked that they will open the schools in two shifts from 07 am to 10 am and from 12 pm to 2 pm.
