Punjab Scholarships for Govt Families

Punjab Government Benevolent Fund offers educational scholarships to the children of in-service, retired, or deceased government employees. These scholarships are designed to support the educational pursuits of deserving students who meet the eligibility requirements and are currently enrolled in higher education. Eligibility for Scholarships
To qualify for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
The student must have passed their matriculation or any higher secondary exams with at least 60% marks.
The scholarship 2024 is available to students pursuing education in intermediate Inter, bachelor BA, BS, or masters MA, MSc programs.
Each eligible government employee can apply for up to two children. If one of the children is enrolled in a special institution for children with disabilities, the employee may apply for a scholarship for three children.
In addition, children of deceased government employees are eligible for scholarships that cover education from primary school to matriculation.
Special Provisions for Deceased or Disabled Government Employees
For children of government employees who are deceased or retired due to disability:
Scholarships are available for education from primary through matriculation.
In cases where a child attends a recognized special education institution, the scholarship can be extended to three children.
How to Apply for the Scholarship
Government employees must submit the prescribed scholarship application form, which must be attested by the head of their educational institution. Applications must be submitted to the relevant office through the head of the department for processing.
Required Documents for Application
The following documents must be submitted along with the completed scholarship application:
A copy of the CNIC or B-form of the student.
A copy of the parents CNIC.
For in-service government employees: A copy of the computerized payslip for December 2024 or January 2025. For retired employees: An attested copy of the pension book PPO.
A copy of the result card issued by the respective educational board or university, showing a minimum of 60% marks. The result card must be official and not downloaded from the internet. The applicant must not have failed any subject or missed any exam paper.
Obtaining and Submitting the Application Form
The application form can be obtained from the Administrator Benevolent Fund at Alfalah Building in Lahore, or from the District Welfare Fund Boards chaired by the District Commissioner. Alternatively, the form can be downloaded from the official website.
Important Dates for Submission
The Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund scholarship applications will be accepted from January 1, 2025, until March 31, 2025.
