Punjab Revises Fees for Academic Certificates and Correction

Higher Charges for Certificate Attestation and Issuance
The fee for attesting certificates or photocopies for international use has been raised to Rs. 6,000. Similarly, obtaining a certificate before the usual processing time will now cost Rs. 6,000, a significant increase from the previous Rs. 1,000. Students seeking late result cards from 2010-12 must now pay Rs. 1,000 instead of Rs. 700, while duplicate result cards now cost Rs. 5,000.
Revised Fees for Corrections and Migration
Several charges related to corrections and migration have also been revised:
Rs. 2,000 for registration or result card cancellation, reappearing in practical exams, and migration cancellation.
Rs. 1,500 for corrections in name, parentage, birth date, age, or address.
Rs. 4,000 for obtaining migration and No Objection Certificates NOCs.
Rs. 5,000 for making corrections in intermediate result cards within two years.
Rs. 6,000 for corrections in result cards issued between two and five years ago.
Rs. 10,000 for modifying certificates that are over ten years old.
Higher Late Submission and Book Affiliation Fees
The penalty for submitting a late admission form has increased from Rs. 100 per day to Rs. 600 per day. Additionally, the book affiliation fee has risen from Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 3,000, making academic processes more costly.
Approval of Fee Adjustments
These changes were officially approved in the board’s 522nd meeting. The increased fees are expected to affect students and professionals across Punjab who require academic documentation and related services.
