Punjab’s education boards have officially revised the registration fee for students in classes 9 and 10, effective from the academic sessions of 2025 to 2027. Details of the Revised Charges

The newly adjusted fee is comprised of several elements: Rs. 1,100 for the registration itself, Rs. 630 as a processing charge, Rs. 300 allocated to the Board Development Fund, Rs. 180 for the scholarship contribution, and Rs. 200 towards sports activities. Apart from the board fees, schools will additionally collect Rs. 500 as their own service fee. Moreover, institutions may charge between Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 more for extra services. These charges apply to both public and private schools across Punjab.

Important Registration Timeline and Late Fee

The registration window for the 2025 session opens on May 29, without any penalty. However, if students register between May 30 and June 13, a late fee of Rs. 600 will be applied. The announcement emphasizes the importance of timely registration to avoid additional charges and ensure smooth administrative processing.

Eligibility Criteria and Document Submission

To qualify for registration, a student must be at least 11 years and 2 months old by August 1, 2025. While the registration process will be completed online, schools must also provide hard copies of all required documents to their respective board offices. Students must present their B-Form during the registration to complete the application process.
