Punjab Exam and Result Dates Announced

If you’re a student in Punjab, get ready for some big changes! The Punjab Education Department has just released the academic calendar for 2025-26, and there’s a lot to know.

📅 When Does the New School Year Start?
Mark your calendars! Classes for the next session will officially begin on April 1, 2025.

📖 Exam Dates for 2024-25 Are Out!
For those wrapping up their current school year, the final exams will take place from March 10 to March 20 across 42,000+ government schools, with over 6.5 million students appearing for their tests. Results will be announced in late March.

📝 What’s Changing in Matric Exams?
If you’re in 9th or 10th grade, here’s something important! The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board PCTB has changed the exam format for two key subjects:

✅ Islamic Studies will now be tested in Grade 9
✅ Pakistan Studies will be examined in Grade 10
✅ Total marks for both subjects have increased from 50 to 100!

To match these changes, new textbooks have been designed and are currently being printed.
