Punjab Education Foundation Imposes Ban on Summer Classes

Punjab Education Foundation PEF has decided to prohibit the holding of classes at its affiliated schools during the summer vacation period, which began on May 25, according to media. The Deputy Managing Director of PEF stated that the decision was made due to the extremely high temperatures experienced during the summer months. He also stressed that strict actions will be taken against school owners who organize summer camps during this time.
He added, "The safety and well-being of children in the intense summer heat is a top priority for the Foundation."
PEF, a leading educational body, manages a network of 7,500 partner schools across Punjab, with over 200 of these schools located in Lahore.
