Punjab Board Issues Revised Exam Schedule for Matric & Inter

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has issued a revised examination schedule for matric and intermediate students after exams were earlier postponed due to heightened geopolitical tensions between Pakistan and India. Matric Practical Exams Get New Dates
As per the latest announcement, practical exams for matric students—originally scheduled for May 7 and involving subjects like Biology, Computer Science, and Food & Nutrition—will now be held on May 17. Likewise, the practical tests that were to take place on May 9, including Biology, Computer Science, and Arts, have been pushed to May 24.
Intermediate Papers Shifted to Later Dates
At the intermediate level, the Tarjuma-tul-Quran paper, which was previously set for May 9, will now be conducted on May 31. Furthermore, the Accounting and Islamiyat exams that were planned for May 7 have been moved to June 16, giving students additional preparation time.
Existing Roll Number Slips to Remain Valid
The Lahore Board’s Controller of Examinations has confirmed that students will not be provided new roll number slips for the revised dates. They are required to appear for the exams using the slips already issued.
No Change in Exam Centers; Follow Revised Schedule
It was also reiterated that examination centers will remain unchanged. Students must ensure they report to the same venues as originally designated and strictly follow the newly issued date sheet to avoid any inconvenience.
