Punjab School Education Department has officially confirmed the dates for winter vacations across all public and private schools in the province. As per the notification released on December 17, 2024, schools will be closed from December 20, 2024, until January 10, 2025, offering students and staff more than three weeks of winter break. Return to Classes After Winter Break

Schools will reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025, following the winter holidays, as January 11 and 12 fall on the weekend. This ensures a smooth transition for students and staff as they return to their academic activities.

The notification also clarified that the existing regulations requiring the use of face masks within school premises will remain in effect during the winter break. This decision is in line with the ongoing health measures to ensure safety on school grounds.

Ensuring Proper Implementation Across Punjab

The directive has been shared with Deputy Commissioners, Chief Executive Officers of District Education Authorities, and other relevant officials to ensure that all schools adhere to the holiday schedule. The Punjab Director General of Public Relations has been instructed to publicize the announcement through media channels.
