Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC qualifications FA, FSc, ICS, I.Com and those awaiting their HSSC Part-II results are eligible to appear for the test. This move ensures broader participation from candidates seeking undergraduate admission.
Test Groups and Merit Distribution
The PU Admission Test is categorized into seven major groups, with each group accounting for 25% of the total merit score:
Pre-Engineering PU-E
Pre-Medical PU-M
Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences PU-AHS
ICS with Physics PU-CSP
ICS with Statistics PU-CSS
General Science PU-GS
Commerce PU-COM
Note: Candidates cannot use admission test scores from the previous year for the 2025 admissions.

Applicants must complete their registration through PU’s online portal:

Payment Methods: HBL, UBL, or 1Bill mobile banking system

Special Testing Requirements for Certain Programs
Engineering Applicants: May submit PU Test, ECAT UET, or SAT scores.
Law Applicants LLB: Must pass both the LAT and PU Admission Test.
