PU BS Admission Entry Test 2023 Schedule

Lahore, University of the Punjab Lahore, has recently released the PU BS Admission Entry Test 2023 Schedule, which is a mandatory requirement for undergraduate admissions. Interested applicants seeking admission to the Undergraduate Programs offered by the University of Punjab are advised to appear in the PU Admission Test, tentatively scheduled for 25th June 2023.

Eligibility for PU Entry Test 2023

Candidates who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent Grade 12 education, as well as those who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent and are awaiting results, are eligible to apply for the PU Entry Test 2023. The last date for online registration for the PU Admission Test is 9th June 2023.

The Admission Test will be conducted in the following seven categories based on relevant academic streams/disciplines:

• PU-E: Pre-Engineering


• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics


• PU-M: Pre-Medical


• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology


• PU-CSP: Computer Science Physics


• Subjects: Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics


• PU-CSS: Computer Science Statistics


• Subjects: Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics


• PU-GS: General Science


• Subjects: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics


• PU-COM: Commerce


• Subjects: Accounting, Economics, Commerce


• PU-AHS: Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences


• Subjects: Islamiat/Ethics, Pakistan Studies, General Knowledge

Pattern of PU Entry Test 2023

The PU Entry Test 2023 will consist of five sections, each containing 20 questions:

• Verbal Reasoning: 20 Questions 20% weightage


• Quantitative Reasoning: 20 Questions 20% weightage


• Subject-1: 20 Questions 20% weightage


• Subject-2: 20 Questions 20% weightage


• Subject-3: 20 Questions 20% weightage


• Weightage and Merit Calculation for PU Entry Test


• The admission test carries a weightage of 25% in the overall merit calculation for admission.

Application Process for PU Entry Test 2023

To register for the PU Entry Test 2023, applicants should visit the official website of Punjab University. The admission test fee is PKR 1500/-, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Fee Challan can be downloaded during the registration process at the official website of the University and can be paid at any branch of HBL, UBL, or through mobile banking. Applicants are required to upload proof of payment on the portal to complete the application process.
