PSDF Skill Diploma Programs Admissions Open for Session 2025

Lahore, February 19, 2025 – The Punjab Skills Development Fund PSDF, in collaboration with the Chief Minister’s initiative, has launched the groundbreaking “Chief Minister’s Digital Skills Program for Educated Rural Women.” This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to empower rural women by providing free digital training to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Starting March 2025, the program will roll out in phases across Punjab. Phase-I begins on March 15 in districts like Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha, and Gujranwala. Phase-II kicks off on April 15 in Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Jhang, and other areas, while Phase-III starts on May 15 in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, and additional districts. The six-month program offers free desktop computers, internet devices, and a PKR 30,000 stipend per trainee, along with certified online training and continuous mentorship.

Eligibility requires women to be at least 16 years old, pass an entry test, and reside within Union Council boundaries under District Council limits, with preference for those under 30. The training equips participants with digital marketing, content creation, e-commerce, and English language skills, enabling them to become freelancers or launch online businesses via platforms like Shopify and Daraz.
