Pnjab University Announces Summer Vacations

University of the Punjab PU, Lahore has officially announced the schedule for summer vacations. All academic departments, institutes, centers, affiliated colleges, and schools will remain closed for summer break from June 5, 2025, to August 29, 2025. Attendance Requirement for Administrative Staff

Despite the academic closure, administrative personnel across all departments, institutes, centers, and affiliated institutions are required to continue their duties as per the regular schedule during the vacation period.

Guidelines for Exceptional Departments

PU has also provided specific guidelines for departments or institutions with special requirements. These teaching units, if facing unique academic or examination needs, may conduct classes or assessments during the vacation period—but only after obtaining formal approval from the Vice Chancellor.
