PMDC Issues Updated MDCAT 2025 Curriculum

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC has officially announced a newly revised syllabus for the MDCAT 2025. Entrance Exam to Be Held Around September–October; No Negative Marking Included
The MDCAT exam 2025 is tentatively planned for either the last week of September or the first week of October this year.
This year’s test will include five core subjects:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
English
Logical Reasoning
The examination will feature 180 multiple-choice questions MCQs, and candidates will have three hours to complete the test. A key update is that no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers, as negative marking has been removed.
To be eligible for admission:
Medical college applicants must secure at least 55%
Dental college applicants need a minimum score of 50%
The new syllabus was formulated through collaboration with educators, examination boards, and universities, reflecting the PMDC’s efforts to ensure merit-based, fair, and transparent admissions.
