PIMS FCPS Admission 2024

The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences PIMS in Islamabad beckons aspiring medical professionals for its esteemed Residency Training Programs in the January Session 2024. This revered institute offers an array of FCPS Training levels across various specializations, catering to the diverse ambitions of medical students.
The programs are categorized into four years of FCPS Training Level I, three years of FCPS Training Level II, and two years of FCPS Training Level III. PIMS also extends Residency Programs leading to terminal qualifications like MD/MS, hosted under the Faculty of Medicine & Allied Disciplines and the Faculty of Surgery & Allied Disciplines.
Eligibility for these programs mandates possession of an MBBS or equivalent degree registered by PM&DC, completion of a one-year house job from a recognized institution, and a valid permanent registration with PM&DC. Successful completion of FCPS Part-I/MD/MS Part-I examinations in 2022-23 for CPSP/University training programs is a prerequisite.
Prospective candidates can apply online via the PIMS website within 15 days of the advertisement's publication. Each specialty application requires a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2000, deposited in the specified NBP Account No. 1780003010766690.
Selection criteria adhere strictly to open merit, ensuring fair selection practices. Government servants, individuals in autonomous bodies, and regular Medical Officers of PIMS need to apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate NOC.
Selected candidates for admissions will undergo interviews based on established criteria, academics, and interview performance. Notably, individuals already undergoing training in other institutions and registered with CPSP/universities are ineligible to apply.
