Eligibility Criteria

Sixteen years of education or 4 years of education after F.A./ F.Sc./ A-Level or equivalent at least 130 credit hours.


At least Second Division/CGPA 2.50 in the degree on the basis of which admission is requested.

Qualify in a GRE General Type Test as determined by PIFD for admission to the MS/M.Phil. Degree program.

Deficiency Courses for Candidates from Non-Art and Design Background

For candidates whose previous degree did not provide an adequate background for the M.Phil. program, PIFD offers deficiency courses. These courses should be completed within one year after admission to the M.Phil. Art and Design Education program.

Successful candidates with an Arts or Design background are required to appear for an interview with a Portfolio consisting of 20 JPEG images, including 10 of their own art or design work and 10 of their students work Size of images:

Applicants with a non-Arts and Design background should submit a writing sample, sample lesson plans, course outlines, or curriculum documents in the online application form and will also appear for an interview.
