Peshawar and Punjab Universities Declare Winter Breaks

University of Peshawar has confirmed its winter vacation schedule, spanning from December 23 to January 4. All academic departments, institutes, and affiliated colleges will remain closed during this time. Nevertheless, the Peshawar University emphasized that examinations, tests, and interviews will proceed according to their original timelines. Both students and staff are encouraged to fulfill their academic obligations as per the pre-planned schedule despite the break. Punjab University’s Winter Closure

In a separate announcement, Punjab University stated that its teaching departments, centers, institutes, constituent colleges, and schools will observe a winter vacation from December 23 to December 27, 2024. Normal academic activities are set to resume on December 30, 2024, as outlined in a notification issued by the Registrar’s Office on December 16, 2024.

Staff Responsibilities During the Break

While academic facilities will remain closed for students during the designated vacation periods, administrative staff, including personnel in teaching departments and related institutions, are expected to continue their work routines without disruption throughout the holiday period.
