PEEF Introduces CMMS Scholarship for PhD Candidates 2024

Punjab Education Endowment Fund PEEF has unveiled the Chief Minister’s Merit Scholarship CMMS for 2024, aimed at sponsoring fully-funded PhD programs. This prestigious scholarship is designated for the top 50 QS Ranked universities worldwide, focusing on specific subject fields. Preference and Quota Details

Priority will be given to students possessing a Punjab domicile. Nevertheless, quotas have been established for residents of other provinces, including AJK, Gilgit Baltistan GB, FATA, and the Islamabad Capital Territory ICT. This opportunity is open to Pakistani citizens who are aiming for admission to any of the worlds top 50 QS-ranked universities.

Engineering & Technology
Natural Sciences
Social Sciences / Arts & Humanities

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Have a valid PhD admission offer from one of the top 50 QS Ranked universities worldwide in the specified subject areas.
Maintain a minimum of 60% marks throughout their academic career.
Have a declared monthly family income including self, spouse, and parents of Rs. 200,000/- or less.
Be 35 years old or younger as of April 26, 2024.
Have not received any foreign scholarship previously.

Application Process

To apply for the CMMS Scholarship 2024, candidates should:

Obtain admission to one of the specified top 50 QS Ranked universities.
Download the scholarship application form from the PEEF website.
Submit the completed application form to PEEF by the specified deadline.

Important Notes

Scholarship awards cannot be deferred to the following year.
Permanent/regular faculty members of Pakistani public sector educational institutions are ineligible.
Applicants are responsible for securing university admission and applying for a visa.
The Scholarship Selection Committees decisions are final.
PEEF holds the right to decline any application or halt the selection process without explanation.
