PED Schools Reopening Timetable Classes Three Days

Punjab Education Department is going to reopen the schools all over Punjab and the PED department has issued the complete timetable for the reopening of the schools. According to the PED Schools Reopening Timetable Classes Three Days, the schools across Punjab will be opened from 15 September and the students will attend their classes for only three days during a week. Each class will be divided into two groups and the students, who have odd roll numbers, they will be placed in one group and this first group will attend the schools on Monday, Wednesday and Friday while the students, who have even roll numbers, they will be placed in second group and it will attend the schools on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The schools will start their classes from 07:30 am in the morning and the schools will be closed at 01:00 pm and the students will not attend the assembly and they will not enjoy break.
As the students will attend the schools only three days during a week, so due to lack of time for the academic year 2020-21, the government has decided to shorten the syllabus up to 40% and the students will prepare their exams easily. The students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes will attend the schools from 15 September and the students of 6th, 7th and 8th classes will attend the schools from 23 September 2020. The students of the junior grades from 01 to 05 will attend the schools from 30 September 2020. The students and teaching staff will observe the precautionary measures including wearing face masks, use of sanitizer and keep distancing from others during their classes in the schools.
