Social Media Policy for Islamabad Police
Earlier today, a new social media policy was introduced for police officers in Islamabad, based on directives from the Establishment Division. The policy restricts officers from posting personal opinions, or articles, or engaging in online discussions without prior approval from higher authorities.
Limits on Sharing Personal and Official Content
Police officers are also barred from uploading photos or videos in uniform, or from government offices and vehicles for self-promotion. Furthermore, they are strictly forbidden from sharing any sensitive or confidential information on social media platforms.
