PEC Generates Balanced Question Papers through Online Portal

Punjab Examination Commission has introduced the online Item Bank System IBS for the evaluation of the students from class 1 to 8 in about 65,000 government schools all over the province. The students can know that PEC Generates Balanced Question Papers through Online Portal.

The provincial School Education Department SED ordered PEC to monitor the technical input on improvement, revision and execution of the Assessment policy framework, which was launched in 2020. PEC has created the IBS on the international standards for quality evaluation of students in the province. The detail shows that the new system will generate the balanced question papers for each class and subject and they will press one click to get the universal keys and rules, which aims at the uniform evaluation of the students.

The comprehensive security feature has been introduced in this system to compel the schools so that they can use it to generate the papers. The CEO shared the detail that about 300 questions for each subjects have been added and the system will create 25 question papers for each class and subject. This question paper will be added with MCQs and comprehensive-related questions.
