Pakistani Universities Excel in THE 2025 Subject Rankings

Pakistani universities have demonstrated remarkable progress in the Times Higher Education THE 2025 World University Rankings by Subject, reflecting their dedication to academic excellence and impactful research. This achievement highlights their growing presence in the global academic arena across various disciplines.
In Business and Economics, institutions like NUST 301-400, COMSATS, and Quaid-e-Azam University 401-500 stood out for their contributions. The field of Computer Science showcased exceptional performance, with NUST and UET Taxila ranking in the 301-400 band, and several others making their mark up to the 1000 range.
In Education Studies, the University of the Punjab achieved a significant milestone by securing a position in the 401-500 range. Engineering continued to be a strong area, with NUST, COMSATS, and other universities achieving ranks between 401 and 1250+.
The Life Sciences category saw Quaid-e-Azam University excel at 251-300, along with other institutions ranking up to 1000+. In Medical and Health Sciences, universities such as the University of Management and Technology and the University of Sargodha performed well, ranking in the 401-500 range.
