Pak Girl Grabs Bronze Medal in IChO

Bangkok, The International Chemistry Olympiad was conducted in Bangkok, Thailand and the Pakistani girl student, Maha Ayub outshined with the bronze medal in IChO. She participated in the international competition with the team of 4 members and this competition is held annually. The brilliant students of the secondary level from all over the world participate in this competition.
Higher Education Commission HEC and HEJ Institute of Chemistry sent the team of 4 students in Bangkok to participate in the 49th International Chemistry Olympiad in Bangkok, Thailand. The HEC tested the abilities and knowledge in chemistry of the students in five hours laboratory practical and five hours written theoretical exams. Then the maximum marks taking students are selected and they are sent to the International Chemistry Olympiads. This competition was conducted from 6 July to 15 July 2018 and after that their final results were declared.
Maha Ayub is the student of Lyceum School Karachi and she was selected with three other aspirants. She talked with media and expressed her experience to participate in this international competition. She said that the competition was more than just exam and it was golden chance for the students to interact with people from different states and cultures. This experience was wonderful for her and it helped to develop lot of international friendships and it promotes the excellent and bright image of the country all over the world. She also asked other aspirants to participate in such events and they can represent Pakistan at the international level and everyone should try it to get this golden chance.
