No More Board Exams for Grades 5 and 8 in Punjab This Year

Good news for students in grades 5 and 8! The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority PECTA has decided to cancel this year’s pec exams for these classes. Instead, students will be assessed through a different method, as reported by tv news channel.
This decision was made during a meeting led by PECTA CEO Dr. Shahenshah Faisal Azeem. The goal is to help students focus more on understanding concepts rather than cramming for exams.
Officials said the new approach is based on modern education trends, which prefer ongoing assessment methods instead of stressful, traditional exams.
