Admission Notice for Master of Science in Nursing MSN 2024-26 at Nishtar Medical University

The College of Nursing at Nishtar Medical University, Multan, is inviting applications for the Master of Science in Nursing MSN program for the session 2024-26. This program aims to advance the nursing profession and enhance the skills of registered nurses, preparing them for leadership roles in healthcare.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Educational Background:

A three-year General Nursing Diploma plus one year of Midwifery or any other specialty.
Alternatively, a four-year Generic BS Nursing degree, followed by one year of bedside nursing internship.
Experience:

Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a public sector institution after obtaining the Post RN qualification or after the internship.
Other Requirements:

Valid PNC Registration Certificate.
Punjab domicile.
Application Process
Download Application Form:

The application form can be downloaded from the Nishtar Medical University official website: www.nmu.edu.pk. Ensure to print the form on one side of the page.
Submission Deadline:

The completed application form, along with required documents, must be submitted by October 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
Application Fees:

A bank draft of Rs. 1500/- non-refundable must be submitted with the application form, made out to the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University, Multan.
Additionally, a separate bank draft of Rs. 3000/- is required for the entry test fee.
Entry Test:

Candidates must pass the mandatory entry test scheduled for November 7, 2024 Thursday. Admittance cards for the entry test will be available at the College of Nursing and on the NMU website.
Government Employees:

Regular government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate NOC from their head of institution with their application. They are required to join the training only after obtaining NOC from their competent authority.
Important Notes:

Applications received after the deadline or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Only eligible candidates will be invited to take the entry test.
The interview schedule will be announced on the official NMU website.
