New York University Falak Sufi Scholarship 2025
New York University NYU is pleased to announce the Falak Sufi Scholarship for the academic year 2024-2025, offered through the Graduate School of Arts and Science. This prestigious scholarship is aimed at students pursuing a Master’s program in Near Eastern Studies at the Kevorkian Center, with options for a joint degree with Journalism, a concentration in Museum Studies, and a business track.
The Falak Sufi Scholarship includes a generous academic-year stipend a minimum of $33,720, tuition, student health insurance, and registration and services fees for up to two years, contingent on the student maintaining the academic standards required by NYU’s Graduate School and the chosen program.
Eligible candidates include those applying for the Near Eastern Studies master’s program, the joint degree with Journalism, the Museum Studies concentration, and the business track. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students from countries with a majority Islamic population in South Asia, with a strong preference given to female students.
