New Exams Dates Announced by Rawalpindi Board After Delay

Rawalpindi –Rawalpindi Board of Education has unveiled the rescheduled dates for exams that were earlier postponed due to rising military tensions between Pakistan and India. Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan confirmed that matric practical examinations are now set for May 27 and May 29, while the intermediate exams will take place on May 31 and June 16. Roll Number Slip Guidelines and Exam Centers
As per the latest update, students are required to appear at the same exam centers previously assigned. While fresh roll number slips are available for download from the board’s official website, older slips will also be accepted on the day of the exams.
Civics Paper Cancelled, Alternative Marking Announced
In a notable decision, the BISE Rawalpindi has canceled the Civics Part 2 exam. Instead, students will receive marks based on their performance in Civics Part 1. This step has been taken to ensure academic continuity without compromising fairness.
Postponement Linked to Security Concerns
The exams originally scheduled for May 7 and 8 were postponed due to the looming threat of conflict between Pakistan and India. With the situation improving, the board has now provided a clear and updated date sheet for the affected papers.
