New Date Suggested for MDCAT Retake Exam

The Institute of Business Administration IBA Sukkur has proposed December 1 as the date for a retake of the Medical & Dental College Admission Test MDCAT, pending approval from the Sindh Health Department. Efforts to Develop Exam Content and Structure
To prepare for the exam, IBA Sukkur has engaged a team of experts to create a comprehensive question database. The health department, through the provincial advocate general, has submitted a report to the Sindh High Court, detailing the collaboration with IBA Sukkur and the proposed timeline for holding the MDCAT.
Designated Representatives for MDCAT Oversight
The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council PMDC has appointed Imdad Khushak, its Controller of Examinations, to oversee the MDCAT process. Additionally, the Sindh Health Department has named Deputy Health Secretary Zohaib Hasan Sheikh to help coordinate the exam.
Suggested Revision to Multiple-Choice Format
In line with their standard testing procedures, IBA Sukkur MDCAT 2024 2025 has requested the PMDC to modify the format of the MDCAT 2025 questions, proposing a shift from five to four answer choices per multiple-choice question. Previously, Dow University of Health Sciences and other provinces provided five options per MCQ in the MDCAT, while IBA Sukkur typically uses four.
