Invitation for Applications: International Programme for Development and Stability IPDS - 2024

The Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis ISSRA at the National Defence University NDU Islamabad is pleased to announce the International Programme for Development and Stability IPDS - 2024. The three-day workshop is scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th September 2024 at NDU, Islamabad.

Overview
The IPDS - 2024 is designed to be a comprehensive platform for Foreign Security Advisers FSAs, diplomatic staff from various embassies, representatives from international agencies, and members of civil society. The workshop aims to foster a shared understanding of key issues related to development and stability in the region and Pakistan.

Objectives of the Programme
The IPDS - 2024 will focus on the following key objectives:

Global and Regional Dynamics: Participants will explore the transforming global and regional environments and identify enabling conditions that can attract investment and promote sustainable development in the region.

Trade and Policy Discussions: The programme will feature discussions on trade, development, and stability in Pakistan, with a particular emphasis on analyzing policy options to encourage investment in the country.

Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital: The workshop will also explore opportunities for startup businesses, entrepreneurship, and venture capital in Pakistan, providing insights into the burgeoning business landscape.

Application Details
Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications no later than 15th August 2024. The application form can be downloaded from the NDU official website at www.ndu.edu.pk. Completed applications should be sent via email . Please note that applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Programme Fee
The programme operates on a self-finance basis with a fee of Rs. 100,000 per individual.
