NCOC Asks To Shut Schools Earlier For Winter Vacations

After a break of few months, COVID-19 cases are once again increasing in the country. The second wave of pandemic may be worst than before. The educational institutes are facing an alarming hike in the cases. Parents are also getting panic and avoid their children to schools and the situation is getting worse due to second wave of Corona Virus.

The National Command & Operation Center NCOC held a meeting in the current situation and recommended to close schools and other public places. According to details, the Federal Minister of Education, Shafqat Mehmood decided to hold a meeting on the recommendations given by NCOC on 16 November 2020. All provincial education ministers will join the meeting and decision for earlier closure of schools will be taken due to spread of Corona Virus cases in the schools.
