National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC has announced its decision to integrate technical education and vocational training into the formal education system across Pakistan. This initiative aims to enhance students academic and professional prospects by introducing a framework that combines technical and vocational education with traditional schooling. The goal is to offer students opportunities for acquiring essential skills that will contribute to their success in both education and the workforce. The students can get latest updates of NAVTTC Integrates Tech & Voc Education into Pakistans Formal Education System.

NAVTTC Multi-Level Technical Education Pathways

Middle-Tech: Students in grades 7 and 8 will have access to Level 1 and 2 courses, which focus on introducing vocational skills and trade-related education.

Matric-Tech: For students in grades 9 and 10, Level 3 and 4 courses will offer more specialized vocational training, providing a deeper understanding of technical skills.

Inter-Tech: Intermediate students will be able to pursue advanced technical training or directly enter skilled professions, offering them career-ready expertise.

Collaboration with Provincial Governments and Educational Boards

NAVTTC has called on all provincial governments, educational boards, and Boards of Technical Education BTEs, including those in Azad Jammu and Kashmir AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan GB, to support this initiative. The tech-stream program will be available to students across the country, ensuring they receive the latest technical education and training. Schools and colleges will implement this vocational and technical education pathway, contributing significantly to Pakistan’s economic development.
