Meeting of Board Chairmen to Decide Promotion Formula

The Provincial Government announced to promote all of the matric and intermediate classes students to the next classes without their exams but the proper formula for the promotion of the students is not announced yet. The educational boards are working in order to make the suitable policy to promote the students of the SSC and HSSC classes to the next classes under favorable formula. After breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic across the province, the government was forced to close the schools, colleges and universities and the vacations were declared in the educational institutes. The educational boards were asked to cancel the annual exams at the matric and inter classes. The Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen was managed in Multan to decide the promotion strategy of the students and the preparation of the result and this matter was discussed during the meeting in detail. Unfortunately the final formula for the promotion of the students has not been finalized during the meeting and it was expected that this matter will be settled very soon. It is said that there are some of the issues, which are still to be resolved to finalize the strategy and the students are waiting for the announcement of the promotion policy by the respective educational boards.
