Launching of Online System in PPSC Avoiding Paper Leakage

Punjab Public Service Commission has taken the assistance of Punjab Information Technology Board for the launching of the online system in order to reduce the attempts of leakage of the papers. PPSC has replaced the previous data of questions with the new database as Punjab Government issues instructions to them. PPSC has prepared the standard operating procedures SOPs for the officers and employees and the storage devices will not be allowed in the premises of PPSC office. PPSC has changed the duty roaster of their officers and employees significantly. These additional measures will ensure the secrecy of the office with the help of PITB. When PPSC received the repeated complaints of theft of the data or leakage of the questions papers, PPSC took this initiative to maintain the secrecy of the data being saved in PPSC. It was reported that seven persons were found involved in the leakage of papers during March last year and Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab arrested these responsible persons, who confessed their crime. These involved persons took the bribe of Rs.800,000 to leak each question paper.
