KPK Academic Winter Break Schedule

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the winter vacations in the educational institutes. As the educational institutes are closed, the academic activities are shifted online after the closing of the institutes because of the insurgence of the COVID-19 cases. KPK government has announced the winter vacation in the educational institutes and the government has announced their KPK Academic Winter Break Schedule.

Now the candidates can note that winter vacation in the province will be announced from 24-12-2020 to 10-01-2021 in the public and private sector schools, colleges and universities in summer and winter zones. The government will make the final decision regarding extension of break, which will be taken during first week of January. The educational institutes will remain closed from 26-11-2020 to 23-12-2020 because of the Coronavirus pandemic cases and the academic activities will be continued online.

The teachers and staff members will continue to attend the educational institute in order to facilitate them by providing the distance learning through online lessons and provision of homework and assignments. The government encouraged students to use academic resources on Learning Management System. The educational institutes, which do not have the resources to provide online education, they are allowed to call the students to academic facilities on grade basis to assign the home work and assignments and distribute the learning material and it has provided the teaching assistance feedback guidance in order to facilitate the distance learning. The weightage of homework and assignments will be provided to the overall grades of the students at the end of academic year.
