Diploma in Family Medicine
Locations: Peshawar and Abbottabad campuses

Certificate in Family Medicine
Locations: Peshawar and Abbottabad campuses
This certificate program focuses on enhancing expertise in family medicine, aiming to improve the quality of primary care services.
Certificate in Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety
This program is targeted at individuals seeking to improve their skills in healthcare quality and patient safety, essential for enhancing healthcare delivery.
PG Certificate in Palliative Care
This postgraduate certificate is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to specialize in palliative care, focusing on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of serious illness.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma and Certificate in Family Medicine
Qualification: MBBS Degree
Registration: Valid PMDC Registration foreign candidates must have registration with their own country’s medical council
Experience: 12 months of House Job in a recognized hospital. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
Certificate in Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety
Qualification: MBBS/BDS/BSN/DPT or other allied health sciences bachelors degrees
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
PG Certificate in Palliative Care
Qualification: MBBS/BSN or other relevant allied health sciences bachelors degrees
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
Admission Process
Application Form: Available on the KMU website at KMU Admissions Portal.
Fee Payment: A non-refundable fee of Rs 3000/- should be deposited via Bank receipt/Demand Draft/Payment Order/IBT in favor of Khyber Medical University, Peshawar. Account No. 0977029551007356, MCB Hayatabad Township branch, Peshawar. Payment by cheque/draft is not accepted.
Submission: Complete application forms along with the original receipt should be submitted to the Assistant Director, IFM, Ground Floor, Institute of Family Medicine, KMU, Phase-5, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
Incomplete Applications: Will not be entertained. The university reserves the right to reject any or all applications or make modifications at any time. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Admission Schedule
Last Date for Submission of Form: 10th September 2024
Written Test for DFM: 12th September 2024
Interview of Shortlisted Candidates: 16th-17th September 2024
Note: KMU reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or admission process, with any changes communicated in advance. Selected candidates will need to deposit their admission fees as per the prescribed bank receipt to be received from the respective institute.
