Eligibility Criteria and Opportunities for Admissions Fall 2023

To secure admission in the BSN POST RN 02 Years Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Matric with Science, as per the Higher Education Commission HEC requirements.


2. Diploma in General Nursing with at least 2nd Division.


3. Diploma in Specialty/Midwifery with at least 2nd Division.


4. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and possess a valid Pakistan Nursing Council PNC card.

Notably, candidates who have completed their General Nursing Diploma, Midwifery, or any other specialty before June 30, 2016, and matriculated without science subjects are also eligible for admission to the Post RN BSN Nursing Program.

Admission Schedule for Fall 2023

The admission process for this program unfolds as follows:

1. Admission forms will be available from November 1, 2023.


2. The last date for the submission of admission forms is November 10, 2023.


3. The list of eligible candidates for the entry test will be displayed on November 15, 2023.


4. The entrance test for BSN POST RN is scheduled for November 17, 2023.


5. The final merit list of selected candidates will be revealed on December 6, 2023.


6. Classes and orientation will commence on December 11, 2023.

Special Opportunity for Ex-POST RN Graduates

Ex-POST RN graduates who have previously completed their POST RN from KMU but did not include Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies in their course curriculum can also apply for admission in only Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies, in line with HEC requirements. These candidates should submit their admission forms in hard copy to the office of the Director, KMU Institute of Nursing Sciences, at KMU main campus Phase-5, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
