KMU Admission Notice for DHPE Program in year 2024
Khyber Medical University is renowned for its commitment to excellence in academic and research endeavors. Continuing this legacy, the KMU Institute of Health Professions Education & Research HPER is pleased to announce admissions for the Diploma in Health Professions Education DHPE program for the year 2024.
The DHPE program, spanning one year and consisting of two semesters, offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to enhance educational competencies in health professionals. The curriculum encompasses four modules covering Educational Psychology, Advanced Teaching & Learning, Curriculum Development & Management, and Assessment and Evaluation.
Eligibility criteria for the DHPE program include holding MBBS/BDS, MD, or equivalent qualifications recognized by PM&DC, as well as various other health-related qualifications such as BS/MSc Nursing, DPT/MSc Physiotherapy, and Pharm-D, among others. Candidates who have completed the six-month Certificate in Health Professions Education CHPE course are also eligible, with exemptions from certain modules.
Prospective applicants are required to obtain the admission form and prescribed bank receipt from the KMU website. Completed application forms, along with necessary documents and the original bank receipt, must be submitted to the Institute of Health Professions Education & Research in Peshawar.

Test and/or Interview: 18-04-2024
Display of Merit List: 29-04-2024
Last Date of Fee Submission: 10-05-2024
Commencement of Classes: May 2024
