Karachi University Semester System Online Exams Plan

University of Karachi is going to conduct the online exams for the coming semester system for over 42,000 students of the university and other affiliated institutes, which are operating under the semester system. The exams policy has been made and it has been handed over to the Karachi University registrar by the academic council of the committee and now it will be presented before the committee of Deans for the approval. The report shows that the assessment during the semester exams may be added with case study projects, verbal exams, mid-term exams, class presentation, quizzes, tests, thematic essays, open book assessments and the e-portfolios. The annual exams will also be held on the same pattern with the schedule and grades. For the practical assessments, the methodology section of lab work will be added in exams and video of the lab result will be shared with the students. The results of the affiliated institutes will be divided into two parts and the 40% marks will be decided by the institutes and 60% marks will be provided through final exams policy of Karachi University.
