Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU is pleased to announce admissions for the Master of Science in Public Health MSPH program at the APPNA Institute of Public Health AIPH-JSMU. This program, accredited by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PM&DC and the Higher Education Commission HEC, spans a duration of two years.

Availability of Application Forms
Application forms for the MSPH program will be available starting Monday, 01 July 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MSPH program, candidates must have completed 16 years of education from an HEC and/or PM&DC recognized university/institute. Acceptable qualifications include:

MBBS/MD Registered with PMDC
BDS Registered with PMDC
B.Sc. Nursing - Four Years Registered with PNC
B.Sc. Paramedics - Four Years
DVM Registered with Veterinary Council
Pharm D or equivalent Registered with Pharmacy Council
BS Physiotherapy or equivalent
MSc in Social Sciences Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology
MSc in Biological Sciences
MSc in Environmental Sciences
Master in Business Administration MBA
MSc in Nutrition or equivalent
Experience Requirements:

For MBBS/BDS degree holders, one year of full-time House Job from a PMC recognized institution is mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Last Date for Submission of Forms: Friday, 19 July 2024
Entry Test Date: Monday, 29 July 2024
Merit List Announcement: Monday, 05 August 2024
Entry Test Instructions
Candidates must adhere to the following instructions on the test day:

Arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the test commencement.
Bring the original CNIC and a printout of the Admit Card. Failure to present these documents will result in disqualification from the test.
Test Pattern
The entry test will cover the following areas:

Public Health: 20 MCQs
Arithmetic and Verbal Reasoning: 30 MCQs
General Knowledge: 2 essay questions 10 marks
Total Marks: 60 No negative marking
Duration: 90 minutes
Application Procedure
To apply for the MSPH program:

Visit JSMUs website.
Download the application form and fee voucher worth PKR 5,000/- payable at any HBL branch.
Submit the completed application form, paid fee voucher, and relevant documents via courier to the Office of Admissions, 3rd floor, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Rafique H.J. Shaheed Road, Karachi.
