IUT Scholarships for OIC Member Countries

The Islamic University of Technology IUT, functioning under the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation OIC, has commenced admissions for international students for the 2025 academic year. Located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, IUT is providing a range of fully and partially funded scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, specifically targeting candidates from OIC member states.

Fully Funded BSc Engineering Scholarships for Nominated Candidates
The university has allocated 40 full scholarships exclusively for international students who are officially nominated by their respective OIC member nations. These scholarships apply to the following programs:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – 10 awards
B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering – 20 awards
B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering – 10 awards
Applicants who are not nominated by an official body in their home country are not eligible for these full scholarships. The distribution will ensure fair representation from each member state.
100% OIC Scholarships for Technical Education Degrees
IUT is also offering fully funded scholarships to all students who enroll in its Technical Education programs. Applicants must apply through their national nominating authorities. The breakdown includes:
B.Sc. in Technical Education three years – 30 scholarships
M.Sc. in Technical Education – 10 scholarships
These scholarships are open to all OIC countries, including local students from Bangladesh. Equal scholarship allocation will be practiced, and application forms provided by IUT must be used.
Partially Funded Scholarships for Engineering and Management Fields
Partial scholarships are available for a wider range of bachelor’s programs in engineering and management. A total of 48 seats will be offered under this category:
Mechanical Engineering – 10 seats
Industrial Production Engineering – 2 seats
Electrical and Electronic Engineering – 20 seats
Computer Science and Engineering – 10 seats
Software Engineering – 2 seats
Civil Engineering – 2 seats
BBA in Technology Management – 2 seats
Like the full scholarships, partial awards require a formal nomination. Any unutilized scholarships may be granted to meritorious students from Bangladesh. All recipients will be accommodated with residential facilities on campus.
