Islamabad Colleges Announce Summer Vacations Dates

The Federal Directorate of Education FDE has released the official summer vacation schedule for colleges across Islamabad. As per the announcement, all colleges in islamabad will remain closed from June 1 to August 1, 2025, with regular classes resuming on Monday, August 4, 2025. This annual break aligns with the region’s extreme summer conditions, providing students and faculty a much-needed pause from academic activities.

To further safeguard students from the rising heat, the FDE has also revised school timings. From May 26, 2025, institutions following a single shift schedule will operate between 7:30 am and 12:30 pm. These changes aim to ensure student well-being while maintaining educational continuity. Parents and students are encouraged to keep an eye on official education portals for the most recent updates and instructions regarding the summer schedule.
