Invitation of Proposals for HEC PERIDOT Research Program

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan receives the application forms from the highly educated faculties for PERIDOT Research program. The PERIDOT is the Franco-Pakistan Hubert Curien Partnership program and this program offers the opportunities to the researchers hailing from Pakistan and France to ensure collaboration for joint ventures. In Pakistan HEC will implement this program while in France, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Ministry of Higher Education and research will implement or manage it. Both the countries want to cooperate technologically and scientifically with each other through this program. Invitation of Proposals for HEC PERIDOT Research Program.

Under this program, the research activities will be carried in different fields including Environmental Sciences / Climate Change, Health and Human & Social Sciences. This PERIDOT Research program is offered to the faculty members of the public and private universities. The research will get the expected number of grants for 5 years and the duration of this project will be three years.

The candidates must have PhD degree in relevant field and they must have full time faculty position in the university. The participating universities located in Pakistan and France will fund this project and they will provide mobility facilities to researchers to and from Pakistan. The host institutes assure the required capacities to manage the visiting fellows. The candidates, who are interested in this project, they will submit the online application form through online portal of HEC by closing date of 07 December 2020. The candidates will also upload scanned copies of the required documents and the research project can be sent by investigator for purpose of funding.
