Review Meeting on Tech Education Implementation
A review meeting, chaired by Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, was convened to discuss the launch of Middle-Tech, Matric-Tech, and Inter-Tech programs. Various consultations and proposals were examined regarding the introduction of these technology-focused courses. The education minister has instructed the formation of a committee to finalize the details of these programs.
Integrating Traditional Education with Practical Skills
These innovative courses are designed to merge traditional education with the practical skills needed in the professional sphere. Minister Hayat noted that this is the first time matriculation and inter-tech programs are being launched in Pakistan. The committee will evaluate the available tech lab facilities and determine the necessary requirements.
Market-Driven Technical Education
The minister stressed that the technical courses will be developed in line with current market demands. There will be at least two tech education centers established in each tehsil, and distinct tech courses will be created for girls to ensure comprehensive and inclusive education for all students.
