Indus University Health Science Programs Admissions 2024
Indus University of Health Sciences is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 academic session, offering a range of HEC-recognized programs in health sciences. The university is affiliated with renowned institutions, including Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU, Dow University of Health Sciences DUHS, and the National University of Medical Sciences NUMS. These affiliations ensure that after admission students receive high-quality education and training in various medical disciplines.
Programs Offered:
Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology BSMT:
This four-year program offers specializations in Respiratory Therapy & Critical Care Science, Operation Theater Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, and Radiological Imaging Science. Applicants must have a minimum of 50% in HSC Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification and must hold a Sindh domicile.
Associate Degree in Blood Transfusion Technology AD-BTT:
Affiliated with NUMS, this two-year program is designed for those interested in Blood Transfusion Technology. Candidates need a minimum of 45% in HSC/A-Level Pre-Medical & Medical Technology to apply.
Bachelor of Science in Public Health BSPH:
This four-year degree, also affiliated with JSMU, is open to students with a minimum of 50% in Intermediate Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, or Arts or A-levels. Applicants must be Sindh domicile holders.
International Structured Training:
This program offers various training categories, including full-time and flexible on-job training options, over one or two years. It is aimed at medical professionals seeking specialized training in Family Medicine Practice.
Family Medicine Practice Training FMPT:
A one-year blended training program combining online learning with clinical attachment. Eligible candidates must have an MBBS degree and a completed house job.
Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT:
A five-year program affiliated with JSMU, the DPT is open to students with at least 60% marks in Intermediate Pre-Medical or A-levels. Sindh domicile is required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN:
Affiliated with DUHS, this four-year program requires a minimum of 50% in HSSC Pre-Medical. Candidates must be between 17 and 35 years of age and hold a Sindh domicile.
Post RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing Post RN-BSN:
This two-year program, also affiliated with DUHS, is for diploma holders in Nursing or Midwifery, with valid Pakistan Nursing Council Registration.
Community Midwifery:
A two-year program affiliated with the Sindh Nursing Examination Board, open to females aged 14-40 with a Matric qualification Arts or Science and 40% marks.
Post Basic Diplomas:
The university offers one-year diplomas in Nurse Midwifery and Cardiac Nursing, both affiliated with the Sindh Nursing Examination Board. These programs are open to registered nurses with relevant diplomas.
